Since I live in a high-risk city, and since there have been a LOT of lefty complaints about Homeland Security's slant toward places that will never be attacked (you know who you are, Nebraskans), I thought I'd mention it.
On the other hand, it seems overall funding for first responders is down between $1.2 and $2 billion.
